From Main Street (SR 32), turn north on Union Street. Go to the four way stop at Hoover and Union (Westfield High School will be on the NW corner), and turn right onto Hoover St. Continue east through the four way stop at Hoover and East St. and enter into the Silver Lakes subdivision. The street will change to Deer Walk Trace and will dead end at the parking lot for Freedom Trail Park. From U.S.-31, turn east on 181st Street and continue east through two four-way stops. The street will change to Deer Walk Trace and will dead end at the parking lot for Freedom Trail Park.

• Accessibility: Freedom Trail Park's all inclusive playground and portable restroom are accessible from the paved north parking lot, and the paved trail through the play area makes the lower level of the park accessible. Trails throughout the rest of the park are crushed limestone.
• The all-inclusive playground, along with the sensory garden, is specifically designed for children of all abilities and to provide a chance for all children to learn and grow while playing together. During the design of the play area, the Hamilton County Autism Support Group worked with the City of Westfield to ensure the features included are ones which children with autism would prefer, for example, spinning and twirl features. The equipment was built so more than one individual in a wheelchair can pass on the wide ramp system leading to all the play features. The swings also include handicap accessible swings instead of platform swings. The safety surface of the playground, including the swing bays, is accessible playground turf. Freedom Trail Park's all-inclusive playground and sensory garden are the first of their kind in the State of Indiana.
